Ee Ji Ban Chicken Rice Ball

Hands up who like chicken rice like I do. If u so happens to love chicken rice and in Bandaraya Melaka area, just drive to Ee Ji Ban Chicken Rice Ball. It was among the shoplots but worry not, there are lots of signage to get there.

There is a bit of uniqueness of their chicken rice compared to others, which is the rice come in tiny ball like in the picture below. It is supposed to help children eat more easily according to the owner. Rice ball in one hand and chicken in the other.

You may also order side dishes such as this Cencaluk Omellete. The cencaluk taste and smell wasn't very strong.

Paddington Pancakes

Shout out to all pancake lovers out there. Who say pancakes only for breakfast?. Its such mainstream. At Paddington Pancakes, you can have pancakes any time. Breakfast, lunch, dinner, tea time?. U name it.

With such an affordable price, u can select any pancakes u want. There are so much varieties to choose from.

That day, we start our pancakes session with coffee. The smell of the coffee, just make u can't resist.

They are not only serving pancakes here. There are sandwiches, waffles and few other menu that you must check out. But the main reason we are here of course, the pancakes.

This is the banana pancakes topped with ice cream and served with mini marshmallow, honey and maple syrup. I chose the mini stack. The price is around Rm10++. Couldnt recall the actual price. The taste, its just yum. Very light soft pancakes.

The ambience in the restaurant also nice. I went to The Curve branch. Its on the first floor at The Street. Just above the Flea Market site.

Having headache thinking where to eat for lunch?. Why don't you try 3 course lunch sets at Franco Restaurant. Franco restaurant is a French-Japanese inspired cuisine restaurant. The lunch set provide variety of pastas and sandwich for you to choose from and price range from RM 16.90 to RM 28.90.

Cheese Souffle

Each lunch set come with ice lemon tea and soft vanilla ice cream. The cheese souffle is an add on. The price is RM 17.90. The souffle is perfectly crunchy on the top and very airy texture inside. Simply divine dessert to end a meal.

J-Bros Western Food, Puncak Alam

If you around or passing by Puncak Alam and hungry for western foods, why don't you try head to J-Bros Western Food, a tiny cafe among the shop lots. The newly opened cafe is located not so far from Econsave, and from what I seen that night, there are OCBC Bank, a mall facing the cafe and a big furniture store nearby.

My siblings and I reached there around 8.30pm and there was no customer in the cafe. Perhaps it is because the surrounding area was so quiet?. We ordered a few items from the menu that looks delicious from looking at the photos from the menu.

Butter Chicken Chop Rice (RM 9.90)

A plain rice served with salad, fried egg and fried chicken chop with butter gravy. Quite generous portion however the gravy was not enough. 

Boneless Lamb (RM 28.90)

Boneless lamb steak served with BBQ sauce accompanied by grill corn, coleslaw and salad, french fries and grill carrot. The meat itself was perfectly cooked, it was so tender. The only negative for this one is too much mayonnaise on the lettuce.

Sizzling Grilled Smoked BBQ Lamb (RM 25.90)

Not much difference from the Boneless Lamb menu except this one on a hot plate and no french fries but instead a cheesy potato slice.

Monster Burger (RM 20.00)

The name speak for itself. This towering burger came with two burger patties, onion rings, lettuce, beef bacon, button mushroom, and grill onion. Was not really recommend this menu as my brother complaint the bun is soggy and has very sour taste.

Mango Sago Lolo (RM 7.50)

A descent dessert to cleanse our palate for the night. Has a good flavor and not too sweet. 

The ambience of the cafe is quite ok. The waiter is nice and an ok service provided to us.
